The Pop-Up Field Trip

Join us for an immersive and interactive art gallery experience at Union Market, where we will transform the Chela Mitchell Art Gallery into our very own play space!

The exhibition features Brooke Fierce’s “Bronner’s Played and Passed Down,” which aims to bring to life the familiar rituals of playing cards, Scrabble, backgammon, and engaging in meaningful conversations.

Mark your calendars for Friday, June 27th, from 6 to 9 PM. The evening will be filled with local artists guiding us in play. Chrys Seawood will lead us in line dancing, while Nia Calhoun will host a variety of fun and interactive group games for the carefree adult.

We can't wait to play, meet, and chat it up!

Best of all, this event is free of charge!

Bookclub meeting ft. dr. Mari franco

In the spirit of friendship and the true meaning of why Play Play was created, we wanted to help get ya’ll ready for our most-loved event, #RECESS, during DC Black Pride, Sunday, May 26th. It’s a great opportunity to meet people through the transformative power of play. This book will help us get to know our attachment styles, others’ attachment styles and offer tools on how to make and KEEP friends. Happy reading!
